Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Browsing the site and using the free portion of the list requires no account and no personal details.

2. Information we collect

Browsing: the site has no accounts, forms or comments. The search and filter controls run in your browser and what you type is not sent to us.

Purchases: if you buy full access, the payment is collected by Stripe. We receive and store a record containing the Stripe checkout session ID, the amount and currency paid, the time of purchase and, if you provided one, the email address you entered at checkout. We do not receive or store your card number or other payment card details.

Access restoration: we use the email address from your purchase to send you a receipt containing a one-time link, and to send a new link if you ask to restore your access on another device or after clearing your cookies. We store only a hashed, expiring copy of each link, and we email you only for these purposes, never for marketing.

Technical data: our hosting provider processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and request time in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our emails include the FindSi logo, which is loaded from our website, so opening an email may send a standard image request to our hosting provider. We do not use tracking pixels or track whether emails are opened.

3. Domain data

We store a list of candidate domain names together with whether each was registered on .ai and .si when last checked. This data comes from public registry sources, is held in a Supabase database, and contains no personal information.

4. How we use information

We use purchase records to confirm your payment, provide the access you paid for, respond to support and refund requests, meet legal and accounting obligations, and prevent fraud or abuse. Technical data is used to operate and secure the site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

5. Cookies

After a successful purchase we set a single strictly necessary cookie named si_unlock. It contains a signed token that tells the site you have unlocked the full list, and holds no personal information. It is marked HttpOnly and Secure, and expires after one year or when you clear it. Your access is tied to your purchase record, not only to the cookie. If you clear it or switch browser or device, you can restore access using the email address from your purchase.

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Because the only cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service you requested, we do not show a cookie banner.

6. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the site: Stripe (payment processing, subject to the Stripe Privacy Policy), Supabase (database hosting), Resend (sending receipt and restore-access emails) and Vercel (website hosting and security). These providers process information on our behalf or under their own privacy policies, and may do so in countries outside your own.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights or the security of the service.

7. External links

The site links to third-party websites such as domain registrars and the pages of listed domains. Once you leave this site, the privacy practices of those websites apply, and we are not responsible for them.

8. Retention

Purchase records are kept for as long as needed to provide access and support, and for the period required by tax, accounting or other legal obligations. If the site closes, purchase records will be deleted or anonymised afterwards where the law allows. Domain data contains no personal information and may be kept indefinitely.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect information, including encrypted connections, signed access tokens and restricted database access. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Unless you have made a purchase, we hold no personal information about you. To make a request, email us at findsidomain@gmail.com from the address you paid with, or quote your checkout session ID from your Stripe receipt, so we can find your record. We may need to keep certain payment records where the law requires it.

11. Children

The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
